So I guess I should start by telling everyone some embarrassing facts about myself to help start this blog. Now some people may say "Gross!" or "EWW", but I don't care. This is more for me and the people who care then the people who are just here for a good laugh.
So here goes....
1. ....a little history....I played volleyball from 4th grade- until 12th grade. I was rather good. My volleyball team won 2nd place at the State Finals my freshman and sophomore years. We then went on to win 1st place medals at the State Finals my junior and senior years. I was on the All-State teams and All- Star teams, I was nationally ranked for outside hitters under 5'8", I played club ball, yada, yada, yada.... Not so embarrassing.....Anyway, I had recieved an almost full ride scholarship to Taylor University in Indiana my senior year only to have my dream taken away by my high school coach who did some pretty terrible things and lied just so I wouldn't go there. It was devastating. I had deserved that scholarship and really wanted to play there, but he took my dream away because the school was not what "he" had wanted for me. Anyway, while this was all going on, I met two Mormon Missionaries who giving my lessons every so often about their church. Well my coach didn't like that and so I ended up stopping volleyball. I didn't want his control in my life any more. I had to do everything he said or I wasn't what he would call, "committed." Anyway... long story short... I joined the LDS church and one of the missionaries became my now husband. We got married about 10 days after his mission ended and about 6 months after I graduated high school. ( and yes, we are very happy and no, I wasn't brainwashed.)Me married= 135 pounds. So in about August, I think, and about 8 or so months after we were married, we received news that we were going to have a baby. And boy did I pack on the pounds... ( Here's were the story becomes relevant.) I somehow gained 75 pounds while I was carrying her... 75 pounds! No joke! It's not like I ate more or wasn't active. They at first thought I was carrying twins, but I most certainly was not. No one knows what happened but in May, 2008... I gave birth to our daughter, Dragon Mackenzie. ( yes, you read right.) But now I was not pregnant anymore and still really big. I was in a dilemma. And I just kept gaining. So this leads me into number two....
2. Now..... I'm 5'6" and 220lbs.... No joke....
3. I need to lose weight.
